So in this course, the instructor is Saber Jlassi.
He teaches you how to simulate and render explosions in Houdini.
He shows how to create one of the Explosions inspired by avengers Endgame from scratch but he builds only one.
The Nuclear Explosion that's being advertised isn't created from scratch. he shows the start of the workflow from scratch (just the start) but it doesn't really look similar to the one in the promo.
Then he starts going over the setup of how the RBD and the Rings were created none of this is shown from scratch. He often skips over nodes so it was very hard to follow along.
In the course, there are some things not included in the promo like in week 7. But this isn't done from scratch either and he just goes over a setup.
This is a very lazy way of teaching and it's very hard to follow along since he doesn't explain what was done in each node he again skips over a lot of steps and this for 850$.
The cost per Minute is comparable to Steven Knippings Applied Houdini Particles V, however, in this course, everything was explained very well and everything was created from scratch (an empty Houdini scene).
My recommendation is not to buy this Course it's very overpriced because not doing it from scratch for an 850$ workshop isn't acceptable every other Course I've watched so far (from other schools) especially the more expensive ones did everything from scratch.
He does this in many of his courses especially the ones labeled as advanced so I would in general stay away from Courses where saber is the instructor.
In conclusion:
Almost everything in this workshop is Saber poorly going over his or someone else's Setup and explaining it, in the process skipping over nodes and not explaining it step by step.
This lazy Method makes this workshop hard to follow along.
It isn't worth 850$ you should go with another Course.
